According to cinematical.com, it was reported in Variety in August that Christopher Nolan (of the Memento and Batman Begins fame) is in final talks to direct a movie version of The Prisoner). The script would be written by Janet and David Peoples (Bladerunner, Twelve Monkeys, and Unforgiven). That could be REALLY cool.

We have reservations for 9/5. I had to give my CC number, but they said that was just to hold it, so we should be able to pay separately at the place. Here’s the stuff from the confirmation:
• Please meet at 6:00 pm at the Feast At Lele, located at 505 Front Street, Lahaina (the cross street is Shaw Street).
• Parking is available underneath our complex for $5.00 or across our complex for $7.00.
• Your credit card number will be used to guarantee your reservation only.
• Gratuity is not included. You can take care of gratuity for your servers at the end of the evening along with your payment.
• Cancellation or changes to your reservation must be called in by 10:00am on the day of your event.
• Cancellations made after 10:00am on the day of your event or no-shows are a full charge.
• Please call 667-5353 when you arrive on Maui to reconfirm your reservations.

Hey kids. Hawaii is just around the corner, and I wanted to see if y’all wanted to do any tourist-y type things such as going to a luau, snorkeling, etc. I know some things might require some preplanning so I wanted to gauge interest. Morecooler is not as active as back then. Just wanted to say I love my new job. Truly hectic but sure makes the week fly by. I don’t take any breaks and haven’t had a real lunch half-hour in weeks, AND have been showing up early and leaving late, and I love it. Plus, the boss let me keep my Hawaii vacation even though I am still in probation. I actually need to find a temp to replace me the one week I’m gone. So, if anyone knows a reliable, yet out-of-work friend who can do a decent job (but not better than I can), give me a buzz. I am planning on touching base with my prior temp agency in the role of hirer and probably not using them because they were lousy to me when I was the hiree. Bitter much? They did dump me in that horrible pit of my last job and left me to rot… Thank you Chris for convincing me I could do better.
